Electrically Compressed Jet Engine

Completed electrically compressed jet engine with compressor housing, stainless-steel combustor, fuel line, and exhaust cone.
Independent Engineering Project2026

Designed, fabricated, simulated, and tested an electrically compressed miniature jet engine combining a custom centrifugal compressor, tandem-vane diffuser, annular combustor, propane fuel system, and spark ignition. The prototype produced 1.33 kgf of peak thrust during testing.

Downhill Mountain Bike Suspension Linkage

CNC-machined 7075-T6 aluminum mountain-bike suspension linkage with weight-relief pockets and bearing bores.
Independent mechanical design projectSept 2024– May 2026

Redesigned the rear suspension linkage of a Trek Slash Gen 5 to improve suspension behavior for lighter riders while reducing component mass. The final 7075-T6 aluminum linkage reduced anti-squat, pedal kickback, and overall part weight while remaining suitable for CNC production.

Automated Targeting Squash Ball Launcher

Prototype automated squash launcher mechanism with dual motors, gearing, aiming hardware, and control electronics.
School Advanced Engineering Design Project2025–2026

Designed and built a portable automated squash-ball launcher with two-axis targeting, variable shot speed, and programmable positioning. The 28 lb prototype achieved ±2 in targeting accuracy while substantially reducing mass and prototype cost compared with commercial systems.
